I finished six new pieces of jewelry and they are up on Etsy. Yay!
Here is the link.
I tend towards the darker side of jewelry. Silver, dark silver, black. Along with ribbon, velvets, sparkly stuff. :) Halloween is a perfect time for me. Since this is my first time doing it, we'll see how it goes. This is all a great learning experience. I should have been working on Halloween themed items months ago, I know. Ah well. I'll just have to make do!
Here's some pics:
I am so impressed by your work! These are beautiful. Did you make the charms yourself or buy them some where?
ReplyDeleteI made some and bought some. The old time Halloween picture squares are the ones I made. And then I strung all the bead components together and attached everything together on the chain. I got the pictures from a digital file seller on Etsy. Resized them, printed them, cut them to fit into the metal squares and then put a gloss on top to make it look glassy. It was cool! I did the same thing for the pumpkin head in the heart necklace above. I also made the white square pendant and the large black round pendant on the necklaces.
ReplyDeleteReally? That is so awesome! Would you mind e-mailing me more info. on the gloss you use? Thanks! Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteSure, it's this amazing product called Glossy Accents by Ranger. http://www.rangerink.com/products/prod_inkssentials_glossy.htm
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love it and use it on tons of stuff. You can get it at Michael's or at Joanns. By the stamping products.
